Absolutely demolished a platter of smoky pork mandu 10/10 would recommend to your friend and your mom. It was so savory and umami with the sauce (at the table), the smoky quality really came through and the crisp was perfect!! Spicy pork and rice was delicious, just enough kick without being overwhelming. Service was quick and efficient, plenty of seating in the late afternoon.

Always a nice place to grab a bite of food for dinner if you're craving some korean food. They sell mainly korean street food, but with a modern twist. CHD is well lit, clean and delicious. Used to be very popular and full but these days there is no wait time. Went on a friday night and only 2 other groups were dining in. Recommended items: -mandu variety plate 8.5/10 -rose tteokbokki 7.5/10 -fish cake soup 8/10 -kimchi fried rice 7/10 Will be back when craving some korean dumplings. Wish they had more sides.

Everything was yummy & portions were huge!! I would say the mandu sampler was a little too greasy but everything was delicious. Fast service too!

This is my number one spot in ktown LA; I will always recommend it and always crave it when I'm in ktown. It's one the cheaper side for starters which is always nice. But the food is just so good.... the mandu is thin and crispy and the soy sauce is so perfect with it, the rose tteokbokki is creamy and filled with chewy rice cakes and sausage and glass noodles, so much good stuff... The store is also super clean and nice inside too! Highly recommend!!

The rose tteokbokki has my heart. Gullibly, I once thought Rose tteobokki was called that because there was rose notes in it - embarrassing I know! Now that I'm fully aware it's due to the color, mixing with cream, CHR Mandu LA has a great ratio, showcasing the most ideal color. The rice cakes were chewy and not too soft. I appreciated the plentiful additional topping like fish cakes and egg. Am a fan!

This place is the shit! Was so blown away but each dish everything was solid across the board. The rose tteokbokki was so flavorful and the rice cakes were perfectly cooked. The dumplings had so much flavor and were nicely crisped. I've never had perilla leaf cold noodles but was pleasantly surprised. Even though the place looked pretty busy we got all of our food in under 10 minutes. Definitely worth stopping by, can't wait to go back!

I always love a restaurant that focuses on a particular type of food. The mandu sampler allows you to try a variety of crispy and juicy dumplings. The jalapeno mandu and smoky sweet pork mandu were my favorites. The dumplings in the mandu soup were fine but the flavor of this soup itself was delicious. Service was attentive and good. This is a must-try for dumpling lovers.

The dumplings here taste just like the ones my grandma used to make at home in Korea. The assorted dumplings were all light and flavorful, without exception. The chewy noodles in the spicy cold noodle dish were perfect, and the level of spiciness in the sauce was just right. However, the wonton noodle soup might be better without the lemon. Overall, everything was really delicious!

We had the mixed Mandu sampler, it was interesting and tasty. Korean dumplings are not readily available elsewhere and only in a few places in Korea Town. The mandu soup was fair. The udon tasted like macaroni and cheese which is good. Overall an enjoyable meal and I would return to try other dishes.

Great ambiance music and aesthetic. I love the rose gold plates and utensils, makes it looks so chic and cute. I love that my rose tok is not spicy at all because we can't handle spices. The mandus are a bit oily but it was seasoned well. The servers can be a bit more attentive since we're the only people in the restaurant and they have three servers, but I had to wave my hand and waited for 15 minutes for my check. 4 stars it is!
